Courses and retreats
ASSISI
For the time being ASSISI MISSION offers the following courses and retreats in Assisi:
Introduction Courses and retreats, some of them with an extra special theme about Mary, the Holy Spirit, etc.

Daily meditations with surrender to "the Spirit of Assisi" - the sanctifying and transforming vibrations of divine love in Assisi and final deep Assisi-Mary-healing.

Lectures on Francis' and Clare's life, the Franciscan Order and the ideals of Francis and Clare, the Catholic Church and the liturgy of the mass, the special theme, etc.

Visits to and meditations at the holy sites in Assisi, during summertime also at La Verna, including participation in masses and vespers with the Franciscan Friars and the Poor Clares, who sing like angels.

Meetings with friars and sisters from the Franciscan Order OFM Conv. at the Sacro Convento and at the CEFID (The International Franciscan Center for Dialogue), which Father Mizzi founded in 1989 and lead for a number of years.
Continuing Course - e.g. Christian Mysticism

Daily meditations with deep surrender to "the Spirit of Assisi" - the sanctifying and transforming vibrations of divine love in Assisi and final deep healing.

Lectures and meditations on Christian mysticism, also on the inner way in imitation of Christ, which Francis walked.

Presentation of some of the great Franciscan mystics of our time, including reflections and meditations on how we can live a more mystical life surrendering to God as "modern" monks and nuns.

Meditations at some of the holy sites in Assisi and a visit to La Verna, where Francis received the stigmata and opened deeply to the compassionate love of Christ.

Pilgrimages with "the Spirit of Assisi"
In 2008 a new activity for members of ASSISI MISSION saw the light of day, i.e. a pilgrimage to other places than Assisi. The frist pilgrimage, which is still offered almost every year, has been known as "Around Italy" with visit to the most important holy sites of Italy: Assisi, San Giovanni Rotondo and Monte San Angelo, (padre Pio), the Rieti Valley and Rome. On other pilgrimages we went to Norway (Oslo and Tromsø), Poland, USA (Washington D.C. and California) and Malta. These pilgrimages with with “the Spirit of Assisi” will be offered also in future.
The courses of ASSISI MISSION are well suited for all spiritual seekers and open people who have some experience of/openness to meditation, and who are longing to connect with "the Spirit of Assisi". The continuing courses are primarily suited for people who know Assisi from previous participation in the courses of ASSISI MISSION or another stay in Assisi, and who have a meditative practice.
The courses and stays take place in beautiful, peaceful convents in Assisi.
